Dr Yara Shaban is the manager of the West Asia-North Africa Institute and a learning scientist specialising in education within the Human Security and Social Justice domains. With a PhD in STEM Education from Tufts University and a background in electrical engineering from the University of Jordan, she delves into projects concerning the prevention of violent extremism, the evolution of education, social protection, and public policy research.
